About the program

At FCT our social skills groups are designed to help children develop skills to participate in group activities and make meaningful connections with those around them. To begin we will conduct an individual social assessment to determine your child's strengths and identify programming to help them move towards their goals. Our group programs incorporate the following goals:
  • Turn taking, waiting and sharing
  • Expanding play skills
  • Initiating play
  • Tolerating peer play
  • Conversation skills with peers
  • Perspective taking
  • Physical space/boundaries
